In the introduction I succinctly outline the Charismata Ecclesial model in light of contemporary models of church. Chapter two is a thick description of my personal ministerial context, the Pentecostal/Charismatic movement, contemporary ecclesial challenges, and the implementation and analysis of the charismata model in my parish. Intrinsic to the theology operative in my local context is a full blown and operative Spirit Christology. Consequently, in chapter three I present that Spirit Christology as the core and center of the charismata ecclesial model and Pentecostal/Charismatic ecclesiology. A dialogue between Pneuma-Sarx Christology, Logos Christology and Spirit Christology reveals that Spirit Christology is a more adequate Christological system for this project than the former systems. Also, Spirit Christology is consistent with New Testament Christology, the Councils of Chalcedon and Nicea, and major Christological and theological themes. In chapters three through to eight I argue that charismata-ministries, worship, moral/ethics, koinonia, ecclesial leadership/structure, and Christian conversion are the major ecclesial dimensions of the Charismata Ecclesial model. These ecclesial dimensions flow out of Spirit Christology. Furthermore, these ecclesial dimensions are developed and fleshed out through and from the perspective of historical and systematic theology.
